Commendation at the 2025 AIA Greater Brisbane Awards for Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing
A rooftop retreat provides residents exclusive access to a pool, yoga lawn, BBQ area, and sweeping views across the bay. With two levels of secure parking, the design prioritises ease of living, convenience, and seamless integration with the bayside landscape.
Developed through a collaborative design process, Catalina reflects insights from clients, town planners, and the local landscape, ensuring a harmonious addition to Wynnum’s evolving skyline. But Catalina’s design is more than an architectural gesture—it is a response to the rhythm of the ocean and the character of its bayside setting.
The façade’s sculptural form captures natural light and shifting shadows, creating a dynamic interplay of movement throughout the day. Every detail has been curated to enhance the everyday experience of its residents—from spacious floorplans to premium finishes; smart planning ensures privacy and tranquillity.
